1. Who we are
FounderX (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a cross-border venture advisory based at 95 Regent Street, Cambridge CB2 1AW, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website, and we are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). You can contact us at info@founderx.co.uk.
2. The data we collect
This is a static, informational website. We do not offer accounts or logins, we do not host online forms, and we do not store personal data on our own systems. We may process:
- Analytics data — aggregated, statistical information about how visitors use the site, collected via Google Analytics 4, and only where you have given consent (see Cookies below).
- Correspondence — if you email us, we process the contact details and information you choose to send so that we can respond.
3. Cookies
We use cookies only for analytics, and only after you accept them. When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Decline; no non-essential cookies are set unless you accept. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
- Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_*) — measures how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. Through Google Consent Mode these load only with your consent.
4. Legal basis
- Analytics cookies: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Responding to enquiries: our legitimate interests in communicating with you.
5. Sharing and international transfers
Our website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., and analytics is provided by Google. These providers act as our processors and may process data outside the UK, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
Analytics data is retained by Google for the period set in our Google Analytics account (up to 14 months). Any correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for our legitimate business records.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@founderx.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page.
